The Discoverer—formerly the Exploris One—is Grands Espaces’ new expedition ship, offering travelers a superior level of comfort while preserving the spirit of adventure that is our hallmark.

Recently renovated, it harmoniously combines a spirit of adventure with high-end comfort. The cabins and suites—among the most spacious in their class—offer a warm and refined setting to unwind after days of exploration, as do the outdoor hot tubs, the sauna, and the fitness center.

Designed to navigate the most demanding maritime environments, this expedition vessel is perfectly suited for the polar regions. Its reinforced hull, rated Ice Class 1A, allows it to navigate reliably and safely through the icy seas and spectacular landscapes of the Arctic.

Equipped with Zodiacs, the ship makes it possible to organize numerous shore excursions and outings that bring you up close to nature. These boats facilitate access to remote sites, fjords, ice floes, and wild coastlines—often inaccessible to larger ships—for an immersive exploration of the polar regions.
